It's All Greek to Me? A Cut Above the Rest For a Good Time in the City...

This cache is dedicated to my wife, 'cause she loves this TV program. To complete this multi-cache you must find the caches, perform each task that will lead you to the next cache. Once you have all the tasks completed it will take you to the Final Pit Stop.

A Barrel of Laughs

A play on words, a restaurant just opened in our area and as I pasted it on the freeway the idea for this cache came about. We have really enjoyed the funnies that have come in.

A Series, The Journey to Ahhz

This series take you to 8 traditional caches and one multi-cache. The caches are named by the classic movie the Wizard of Oz and Be fore you can enter the doors of the Emerald City you must go to all eight traditional caches first.

On the Cover of a Magazine.

This is probably one of my most favorite caches. It is nice to place a name to a face and with this cache you get to do just that. Plus I was able to get the name of the Ezine from this cache and some pictures to boot. If you want to be the next cacher on a cover of a magazine check this one out. If you forget your camera upload another one from some where else and I'll still place you on a cover.

The Treasure Chest Hunt

This cache was my first multi-cache. I had made what I think is a very cool container and wanted it to be a spectacular seek to go with it. It seems like there are so many great cache hider around here it takes a lot to run with the best. Even though this cache was a challenge it has been very fun. And I would like to thank all that have shared their wonderful adventure in finding it. Besides I think hearing about them is the best treasure of all.

Members Only

Since I didn't get into this game before I could place a virtual or a web cam, or a locationless, there are fewer options in placing different kinds of caches. So I had to do something different.
Our daughter really gets into caching as well and I've told her if she wants to hide a cache she needs to either find of buy her own container. She then when out and scouted an area and now enjoys hearing about the cachers adventures. She is very creative and has made some excellent camo caches that she'll put out soon.

Snappy Daughter Turn Double Digits

Thought it would be fun to place a birthday cache for my daughter and she helped put it together. Lots of fun things in this cache to start out with.

Looking for the Middle of Nowhere

This cache was placed just on a whim. We were out looking for a couple of other caches and when we came over a ridge the sunseting rays made the red hills glisten. It was so beautiful we had to place one here.
Legacy Car Wash
After telling a friend of mine about geocaching, she wasn't very interested in going out caching, but likes to give me containers that she has around the house. A couple of the containers happen to be ammo boxes. This cache was our first non-camoed cache. Quick and easy grab and is currently our # 1 most popular visited cache.

The Rhino Game

This cache was themed after a game to play while you're on long road trips. Something to do and to help you stay awake. Some times it can be very entertaining to see peoples reactions.

Go Figure and Why?

Always wanted to go up that dirt road and see what was up there. Well, at the top was a great view and something interesting?

A Good Night Cache

My wife and I were out cachin' one day, just kind of thinking up names to caches and this one just stuck in our head. We also really enjoy going hunting for caches in the dark as well. The location is by the bedding /furniture store that had a good enough hiding area and wasn't by another cache.

Paintball Anyone?

I always wondered where the paintball park was and it looks like a fun place to play.

Ouch!!!

Another Geochip before the cache. But one day while cachin' I was grabbing a container out of a Joshua Tree and got jabbes in the finger, OUCH! Right then I knew how I was going to hide that cache.

That's the Way the Ball Bounces

This one was definitely a just because cache. Saw a cache container like this in California and had to give it a try. Name of the cache came from a time my wife and I were just joking around with names.

Red Wagon

Was our first geocaching trip to mesquite. After a day of caching we dropped by a local pub / restaurant with fun decor inside and out. The food and service was excellent. Saw this red wagon and knew there had to be a cache there.

Relaxing Series

Snappy Mom thought this would be a good cachin' theme series to do around the city. Personally I wanted to call the series "The Tinklers"

#1 - I Can Almost See a Blue Bunny , Too
#2 - Welcome to Santa Clara
#3 - Cool Pockets
#4 - Valley of Green
#5 - Inner City Beauty
#6 - A Sunset Fiesta
#7 - Skimming the River
#8 - The Sky's the Limit
#9 - I Can Almost See a Parrothead
#10 -Oxymoron
#11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16- ???

If you know Greek this puzzle cache might be a bit easier then having to look it up on the net.

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Saw a pattern cache from some caches in California and thought it would be fun to use the happy faces that already come supplies by geocaching.com.

Lights, Camera, Action: #1, #2, #3

Using movie themes to make up the coordinates with these puzzles. Unfortunately some of the coordinates of these movie caches didn't mark very well and are off a bit. Use the clues after the coords. get you close.

Abracadabra

I enjoy looking through cache pages in different states and city to inspire ideas for caches. I wish I could remember the cachers name where I got this idea from. His puzzle was a lot more elaborate, but it works this way just as well.

Let's Dance

I actually had made the geochip of this cache before I knew how or what I was going to do. Was about to take a trip to California and was looking through caches to visit and came a cross some clever pattern puzzles. Just happen to have a clip art of a boot print and the let's dance cache popped up.

The Quest for Information

At the first of 2006 we were getting ready to take a trip to California and I was browsing though some of their caches when I came a cross a puzzle that I thought was very creative and I had to figure out a way to reproduce it. So here it is have fun with it.
I love it when I'm out looking for a cache and I run a cross a possible container. When I saw this just lying there and thinking, I bet Baad Daata hid it in that. Baad Daata is another great hider of caches that would naturally belong there.

Foxes, Bunnies, Birds, Oh My!

When we started cachin' the caches that I really enjoyed finding was the ones that looked like they belonged there. Jat311andElf are the cachers that have inspired me to create caches like this. His caches are unique and very creative.

You Are Here?

I would have to admit that my style of hiding is to make the cache look like something that is natural in it's environment. How believable can I make a cache look. To me the art of creating those kind of caches makes it very thrilling for me. I believe this was my third cache and I got the idea when looking for a cache.

Chips Annoy

Wow, here is another cache container that I found thinking it was someone else's cache. TheJeepin' Cachers hid a terrific cache, Lunch Break, when I saw this container I knew it would work great for another "You are Here" type of cache. But as I was driving around one day I found a much better placement.

The Courtyard

This cache was our second placed cache, but it was made at the same time as our first (we had to wait for something to dry). Since this is in a courtyard the coordinates bounce around a lot making it very hard.

Old Gun Range

We where fortunate to have been able to adopt this cache. I since didn't ever know of the the original placement we used our camo style to hide it close as we could. The clue is very helpful, you'll know when you get there.
The first four in this column were inspired by Baad Daata. As she went on here Micro Mania hiding spree. I love these nitro pill containers. Easy to place a log in and water tight. And there is a smaller jar inside. Wow, two for one special. And she was also using these incredibly strong magnets as well. Had to have some.

Deadwood

Quick and Easy Micro grab.

Subway Station

This is a quick and easy cache, just right for a good stretch along the way to your destination.

The Crosswalk

I have to admit that the reason for this hide came about, 'cause I bought some cool kind of paint and I had to use it on something. Almost all my caches are painted or cover by something to add to the fun, skill and thrill of finding a cache.

A Good Excuse to Ditch Work for a Minute.

There is a group of cachers that have a office in the building next to this cache. After they went to my On the Cover of a Magazine I thought it would be fun to give them another excuse to ditch work for a minute.

Calm Creekside Cache

There is so much business and rushing around in this area, that when I came a cross this calm body of water it set me at ease.

Welcome to Fountain Green

Snappy Mom has history and memories here.

Beware of Bulldog

Saw some paw prints on the road and had to follow them to see where they would lead me. Now find out for yourself where they go.
